Tasting notes: EZAR – 714 EZAR FOSTER 2013
- View: Red cherry, with touches of ruby. High color intensity, clean, bright. When shaking the cup looks like it has an abundant tear well.
- Nose: Clean,with notes of black and red fruits, ripe fruit, compotada,vanilla,spices,pepper
freshly ground black, fennel, torrefactos. In the first place appear notes of fruit to give way to the barrel notes: torrefactos, roasted, vanilla. With an elegant aged in a barrel.
- Mouth: Wine robust and full in the mouth. Balanced acidity. It has round tannins,envelopes,
silky, along with notes of smoked, nuts,vanilla,cinnamon,give us a step long in the mouth and prolonged. Very nice.
The winery
714 Ezar Organic Wines is the project, personal and business, two of la rioja, Óscar Arpón Ochoa and Santi Ezquerro Marín, united in the same dream as themselves, they explain in their website:
“We are dos la rioja, moved by a dream, we share a football field to win victories over the years…we came together and we share a field. Atime surrounded by organic vineyards from that we extract the best grapes to bring you the best wines.
Each day we work our vineyards, hoping for the best from nature in order to then develop the best organic wines. We pay our vineyards by branches from the own vineyard. We protect our vineyards from possible fungi by a careful planting of vines which facilitates circulation of the air. Further, the increase of the diversity both within and around the vineyard, it preserves and enriches”.
