TASTING NOTEVIEW Cherry Color, with intense shades of purple, high layer, clean and bright.NOSE On the nose it is complex, good intensity, with aromas of ripe red fruit, jams and spices.MOUTH The palate is generous and very pleasant fruity sensations, fresh and of good persistence. The end of mouth is long, with a pleasant memory of ripe fruit.
The winery
Abadia de Poblet, the only winery in Catalonia located within a historic monument úna the winemaking tradition of the monks of the Cistercian Order, from Burgundy, with the knowledge of the Conca de Barberà, a unique area that has managed to maintain the cultivation of native grapes. The philosophy of the new wines of the monastery, that recover varietals local (trepat, garrut and grenache primarily) is that convey the characteristics of the grapes that are made and the terroir in which they have been cultured. This is achieved, working in a non-invasive and recuprando winemaking techniques of the monks of the Cistercian Order.
