Red wine Bri of the Celler de l’Was

Elaboration: Grapes sourced only from the estate of Mas de les Moreres. Harvested by hand in boxes 16 kg. The first selection, is drift, and it makes a second selection grain by grain. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and maceration of 22 days up to the pressing. Parenting 12 months in new French oak barrels of 225 liters, fine grain and medium toast light.

Pairing: It is a wine that goes with rice (mountain, mushrooms and foie) and stews.

Description

Tasting notes: BRI THE CELLAR OF ERA

  • View: cherry-red with touches of violet, good tear.
  • Nose: clean aromas in nose, with good acidity, notes of toasted.
  • Mouth: powerful in mouth, but cool. Long with a final toast and sweet tannins.
The winery:

Celler de l'era is a family project started this year 2002 in the Mas de les Moreres. A farm 72 has. situated on the right bank of the river Arbolí, in the vicinity of Cornudella de Montsant.

Twelve acres of undulating terrain in which today, they are grown 41.000 strains of local varieties such as garnacha tinta and mazuelo, and other imported as the syrah, the cabernet sauvignon and merlot have for centuries to harbor vineyards intermittently. The walls of the bed trees scattered around the farm speak of the effort to make best use of the hard and generous land of the Priory.
