NOSE: Roasted, with funds fruit almibarados, very mature fruit, memories of baked apple and baking, a result of the 6 years of ageing on lees.
MOUTH: Soft on the attack, emerges with an acidity very well integrated, volume, and long persistence.
The Fillaboa 1898, an albariño of age that maintains the freshness of the albariños young people and the complexity and elegance of the great white wines.

Masaveu Bodegas brings together the five companies of the wine sector of Corporación Masaveu: Bodegas Murua SA, Bodegas Fillaboa SA, Bodegas Leda SL, Wineries Payments Araiz S. A. and Pomaradas Villagares of Sariego S. AR., each in a setting different from our country and wines, soils and souls very different from each other.
In 1974, under the presidency of Don Pedro Masaveu Peterson, the Masaveu family, makes its first investment in this sector with “Bodegas Murua S. A”. So, the family continues in the footsteps of his predecessor, Don Federico Masaveu Rivell, it already owned plantations of vineyards to the mid-NINETEENTH century in Castellar del Vallés (Barcelona), where the family is originally.
