The Winery:
At least five generations linked to wine forge the family character of Marqués de Cáceres. Enrique Forner, founder of the winery in 1970, he learned with his father, and this one with his and his grandfather, the wine trade business (‘Forníc Winery’), interrupted in Spain by exile in the Civil War. Cristina Forner, his daughter and key in the internationalization of Marqués de Cáceres, He runs the winery with the pride and experience of one of the great families of Spain for whom quality wine has never had borders and with wines from Marqués de Cáceres present in more than 120 countries.
The deep conviction in ideas assimilated in France by Enrique Forner and transferred to Rioja from 1970 they remain the pillars on which Cristina Forner rests Marqués de Cáceres. A spirit, based on the production of quality wines, in continuous evolution with a remarkable investment policy in innovation and technology, but oblivious to the more or less temporary fashions that occasionally distort the production of wines and that lose the fundamental objective of this business: offers the consumer a wine to enjoy and to share with loved ones and friends, without shocks or ups and downs like Marqués de Cáceres' own story.
