Wine: Them and A Blessed Madness

Ramon White, is the C. E. O of Adegas Castrobrey, a family winery founded by the great-grandparents, and that currently is controlled by the third generation. It is located in the subzone of Ulla within the D. O. Rias Baixas. It is the winery most inner of the D. Or, with 7 ha of vineyard, and with strains of + 50 years old, and with a kind of viticulture that lies on the boundary, both edaphic as the weather. In that eagerness of Ramón Blanco to seek new challenges, has created this two new project WE&UNABENDITALOCURA S. L (Rias Baixas /Ribeira Sacra).

Have been bought the farm “Cruceiro da Costa” and “Das Glories”, in the heart of the subzone of Chantada within the Ribeira Sacra, with centenarian, pedientes that ranges from the 50% until the 80% slope, with a few “walls” of stone that make the terraces where already planted by the Romans. “heroic viticulture” taken to the extreme, and on the other hand in counterpoint to 500m from the Convent of San Salvador de Camanzo, covered in the “authentic viticulture monastic” on the farm “Fornotilleiro” born a few vines planted by him, you currently have 13 years of albariño, with orientation South-east, and with average slope of the 30% worked so sotenible in vine and groundcover, out this THEM&UNABENDITALOCURA, this wine is a tribute to all “women of your life”, they have done that enamorase of the wine world and what has become their “holy madness”.
