Tasting notes: MUGA – MUGA CRIANZA TINTO 2016
- View: Wine of medium-high layer, ruby red color with reflections teja. A tear dense, that gives us a sequence surround on the cup.
- Nose: First, we appear notes of red fruit type blackberries and memories of spices. All this is very well harmonized with the aromas of smoked his way through woods with a toasty medium-light. The vanilla branch is present in the background with notes of coffee.
- Mouth: Has an attack mellow, a tannin envelope with touches of menthol. To highlight an interesting persistent end in the mouth.
The winery
Bodegas Muga, family winery founded in 1932, it is located in the historic Station District of Haro (Rioja), its facilities are based on an edibenefit bicentennial, with stone and oak as central elements of the same.
In their near 25.000 square feet, everything revolves around the oak, protagonist unequivocal with a few 200 deposits in such material and 14.000 barrels are manufactured with a wide range of types of oak, spanning from the French (Allier, Tronçais or Jupilles), American, Hungarian, Russian, even small items of Spanish oak.
