Description
Tasting notes: Campo Viejo Tinto (CVC)
Very attractive scented aroma for smell. The first sensations come from various fruits: cherries, plums and blackberries, with hints of mountain herbs, accompanied by the sweetness of vanilla and coconut, and the soft and spicy nuances extracted from the oak.
On the palate the fruit is felt again. It is a smooth and delicate taste, that asks to be enjoyed. Wine refreshes the mouth and keeps it awash with aromas
The winery
In 1959 José Ortigüela with his pioneering character decided to found Campo Viejo, in the heart of Rioja.
Since then they have created expressive and characterful wines that celebrate the region's wealth.
