Description
Tasting notes: BODEGAS MURUA – MURUA VS RED 2012 MAGNUM
- View: Red cherry, tears slow with medium-high layer of intense and bright.
- Nose: Intense berries, with light toffees and hints of cocoa and background floral(violets). There is a whole mineral and fruity, reflecting the complexity of the area. A concentrate of aromas.
- Mouth: Sweet and balanced. Presents nuances of coffee roasting and fruity with good volume and persistence. A wine with a mixture of red and black fruits and spices (thyme, heather). The finish is long and pleasant, its silky tannins and velvety reflects the finesse of the best terroirs alaveses.
The winery
So we wake up every day in Murua, with goals very clear, and putting all our human and technological resources at the service of a single goal: the constant improvement in order to continue producing the best wines that never would have been able to develop.
And so from Elciego, in the Rioja Alavesa, Bodegas Murua takes you from the Middle Ages and, especially since 1974 when he joined Masaveu Bodegas, working on the evolution of the Rioja region to conquer palates and markets.
